A reception following the ceremony will be held at Wimbish Mansion, located at 14th and Peachtree Streets in midtown Atlanta. The gorgeous old stone home, nicknamed "The Grand Old Lady of Peachtree," features a number of elegant rooms, a covered front porch, and an enormous original 1920's ballroom.  The Mansion is actually tucked between two high-rise buildings, and we didn't even know it existed until we went to visit, even though we'd each probably passed it hundreds of times.  It really is a hidden treasure, right in the middle of the city.

The mansion is the home of the Atlanta Woman's Club, which gives the following description of their organization and the Wimbish property on their website:

The Atlanta Woman's Club is a hundred and seven years old woman's club located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Georgia. Built in 1895 as Atlanta's first woman's club, it has been well cared for through the years and is a national, state and city historical landmark. The Club resides in the Wimbish Mansion, one of the last remnants of the "Old South" on Peachtree Street and has served as a stage for several major motion movie pictures. The Club was also recently featured on  GPTV's, "Peachtree Street - Take Another Look".

The Club offers its elegant upscale facilities for Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions, Award Ceremonies, Seasonal Parties, Corporate Meetings and Parties, Birthday Parties Bar and Bat Mitzvah's and other Special Events.

The Atlanta Woman’s Club, a non-profit organization, seeks to improve the community by supporting many charitable organizations. The Club also supports the Tallulah Falls School in Northern Georgia, which has been owned and operated by the Georgia Federation since 1909.
